Interview Process: Remote interviews via MS Teams. Interviews will be a 30-minute informal interview with a few experience-based questions.

Description

Set deadlines and ensure actions are chased, provide preliminary advice on submissions, and ensure that decisions are communicated correctly and in a timely fashion. Support and lead, as required, on areas of work within the portfolio, commissioning input and analysing and preparing submissions as necessary. Develop operational policies following staff survey results and ensure that key stakeholders are well briefed and assisted where possible, helping to maintain positive relationships.

A busy and varied role working across the Workforce Training and Education Directorate, the Business Manager (BM) will play a key role in ensuring all programmes addressing the education and quality of the NHS workforce are managed effectively and with strong financial rigour.

The Business Manager works with the Senior Business Manager and Senior Management Team (SMT) ensuring the effective management and planning of a range of project work and business processes.
